Life Happenings

These are the recent goings ons from my daily life.  These revelations could make you laugh, cry or get a very puzzled look on your face as if to say “huh?”

I am a bachelor in the truest sense of the word.  I’ve been in my own apartment for a little less than a week now.  I have no furniture and have been sleeping on the floor with towels as my pillows, and I’m lovin it.  I cooked my first meal at home this Sunday afternoon (yes it was Mac and Cheese Velveeta style!)  I have also now officially decorated my first bathroom and I must say it’s looking nice.  On Wednesday I took a shower with no curtain and that didn’t work so well.  I used my body to the best of my ability to shield the water from getting on the floor and it worked ok, but it was time to go get a shower curtain.  So I picked up a curtain to match the towels and wash cloths I had already purchased, and I grabbed candle for a little extra flavor, thank you Target.

I lifted weights today.

The only reason I put that last line in there is because I’m about to tell you that I gave myself my first manicure.  I got tired of having nasty looking fingers so I did a little self improvement.  And because I just told you that…

I played basketball yesterday and I grunted
