Alito Confirmation Hearing Set to Start on Jan. 9

Well this is my first blog entry with any substance and I don’t really know where to start. I don’t really want a blog spot to just be a journal although it will be that, but more than that i desire this site to be a place where people can get food for their soul. I would also love to have a bunch of great resources on here, tools to really help people along with their LIFE and FAITH.

Maybe this can be a portal to connect like hearts. Maybe it will be an un-religious christian site where some teenager who doesn’t know the Lord might find something interesting and come into contact with a loving, real, personal God. Maybe….

The possibilities are endless.

I figured I’d start by just addressing the supreme court nomination of Sam Alito. I would love to hear the input of anybody dropping by on the blog. The central issue confronting every supreme court nominee is the abortion issue and it comes as no suprise. Their are many soldiers who have been faithfully standing in the gap for this nation asking for an ending to the bloodshed of abortion and it is not a suprise that we see the power basis of a nation shifting. Thank God that my generation is beggening to believe that the bible actually means what it says and that if they pray things will really happen. They are beggining to believe that they can go out to battle against the giants in the land (Abortion, Homosexuality to name a few) and win the battle.

I don’t have a lot to say about Alito yet, but I am praying and asking for strategy on how to pray for him. I do know he is a conservative, and many have declared him to be another Scalia albeit dialed down just a little. I am hoping that he is god’s man for the job and that just maybe the balance of power would shift in the courts from a bench legislating, humanistic supreme court to one who upholds the constitution and the Justice of heaven.

Jesus I plead your blood over my sins and the sins of my nation, God end abortion and send revival to America
